AMANDA KIRLIN: SPIN AND ABS
I have taught spin classes for 5 years. I love bringing energy to my class with a great playlist and tons of energy. I enjoy a variety of different kinds of exercises in the gym including weight training. When I'm not in the gym, I can be found playing outdoors with my husband, dog, and friends!
JOHN GRAVES: GROUP STRENGTH AND SUNDAY STRENGTH TRAINING
John has a strong background in strength and conditioning training and also works as a personal trainer at the gym. He is an ISSA Strength and Conditioning Coach and a USA Weightlifting Advanced Sports Performance Coach. His classes focus on building strength through Olympic lifting while inspire members to push beyond their mental and physical boundaries.
CARYN MOXEY: SPIN AND ABS, GROUP STRENGTH
Caryn has been a Personal Trainer since 1999 and started teaching spin after getting back into cycling in 2014. She loves exploring the gravel roads and singletrack trails around Sheridan County with her husband, son and trail dog. Her spin classes are challenging but focus on fun and bringing the outdoors into to the class. She is a Schwinn Certified Spin Instructor.
CINDY GARRIOTT: YOGA, BARRE
I began teaching fitness over 32 years ago - back in the day of leg warmers. Although it has never been my full time job, it is definitely my passion. I love motivating people and being motivated by the younger generation as well. I have taught everything from Aerobic Dance, Aerobic Fitness to Water Aerobics and now primarily focus on teaching Yoga. I enjoy learning new things and practicing my Massage Therapy skills.
CHRISTINA TRAPP: LUNCH EXPRESS
Christina was born and raised in Sheridan and is the mother of 3. She started her fitness journey after her second child. After attending TRX class she fell in love with it and is happy to have the opportunity to teach as a certified instructor. She loves to be involved in helping others through their own fitness journey.
ASIA STOCKWELL: YOGA
Asia is a Wyoming native. She fell in love with yoga at a local studio and it changed her life in many ways for the better! Yoga encouraged her to begin rock climbing and get certified as a RYT200. Her favorite activities include anything in the sunshine! Hiking, sun sipping, camping, and her newest addiction, rock climbing! (Which yoga has helped IMMENSELY)
MONIQUE GOLINVAUX: CARDIO KICK AND GROUP TRAINING
Monique has been a NESTA Certified trainer since 2014. She has played sports her whole life and continues to play soccer and tennis, and enjoys mountain biking. Her love of training stems from the fulfillment she gets helping and watching people change and grow through their fitness journey in all aspects of their life, not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. "Seeing people's confidence emerge as they push themselves and do something they never thought they could is the ultimate reward of training for me."
ASHLEY WILLIAMS: HIIT45
Ashley is a Sheridan native who loves lifting, running, and anything outdoors. She is a pre-school teacher in addition to teaching group exercise. Her goal as an instructor is to help others achieve their fitness goals while also having fun! When she isn't working she enjoyed travelling to rodeos with her boyfriend or hanging out with her dog Josey.
JENNA FREDERICKSON: YOGA
Jenna is a Sheridan local who unexpectedly found a love for yoga in 2020. She earned her YTT 200 through a local studio in 2022 and has loved every second she’s been in the yoga community. Her style is a combination of energetic, playful flow that still offers opportunities to slow down and enjoy each pose. When she is not at the studio you can find her helping at her families local business, at the gym, or somewhere in the Bighorns with her wiener dog, Alf. Jenna lives to show all her students how yoga aids growth and wellness in all aspects of life.
LEE KAHM: SPIN
I grew up on a family farm in Montana. Living in Wyoming for the last ten years it has certainly become home to me, my wife, and three kids. I have been a cycling fan for the last 15 years. Road cycling is my passion, and Sheridan has some of the best wide open highways, with little traffic to compete with. All the group classes have been a great addition to my training. I recently became a certified Schwinn spin instructor. I love the group atmosphere that the classes bring.
MONICA REISCH: YOGA
Monica completed her 200 hour YTT in 2014 at the Teton Yoga Shala in Jackson, Wyoming. Two years later she completed her E-RYT 200 through Yoga Alliance. Monica teaches a traditional Ashtanga style of yoga with an emphasis on holding poses for a greater length of time to fully benefit from each asana, practicing presence in the face of adversity, and exploring the the balance of effort and release. Her passion is to share the gift of yoga with others, and to promote the translation of our practice from our mats into our daily lives.
I was born and raised in Montana. I played sports throughout school but it wasn’t until college that I really enjoyed physical fitness. After retirement I became a certified Spin Instructor and just recently earned my RYT200 teacher certification. I am excited to share my energy and love of fitness with others.
KELLE PENA: LUNCH EXPRESS
Kelle has been a Certified Personal Trainer for 19 years and has taught Kettlebells, Spin and Cardio Kickboxing and HIIT classes for over 25 years. She believes that when we are in harmony with physical well-being and mental health, in conjunction with a positive spiritual outlook, we live our best lives. She also loves , hiking, wine-tasting, is definitely a foodie and spending time with family and friends as much as possible.
Group Strength (Caryn)
This class has the fundamentals of a personal training session but in a group format. The class usually covers 3-4 muscle groups in 9-12 exercises with some cardio and core work. Suitable for all levels and done on the main gym floor.
Group Strength 45 (John)
This class has a similar set up the longer group strength. Suitable for all levels and done in the group exercise room.
Spin 45 (Lee, Caryn, Amanda)
This class will increase your endurance, up your energy, burn mass calories and jump-start your metabolism. All bikes are set up with the RevMaster Pilot II which measures your time, distance, and cadence as you cycle - as well as provides feedback on calories burned and heart rate when you are wearing a Polar compatible heart rate monitor.
Spin and Abs (Caryn)
Get the best of both worlds, cardio and abs all in one class. Spend 30-40 minutes on the spin bikes and finish with a challenging mix of abs with your instructor.
Lunch Express (Alex, Rhylee, Monique)
Express Classes are 45 minutes in length with a very short warm-up and cool down. We get you in and out so you can still get your exercise despite a busy schedule. From core work to resistance training to high-intensity intervals, these carefully designed, comprehensive workouts build endurance and target every major muscle group while defining your body from head to toe.
HIIT 45: (Lesley, Mo, Ashley, Alex) A 45 Minute long circuit class with cardio intervals built in with strength and bodyweight exercises designed to boost your metabolism and burn fat. The timing and tempo of these classes will result in EPOC which increases the efficiency or your workout. Burn more calories in less time with HIIT 45.
TRX 45: (Caryn)
Our TRX classes are a high intensity class focusing on Aerobic and Anaerobic cardio training combined with the strength and total body workout of the TRX®.
Barre (Cindy, Alex)
Every Barre class is set to music and begins with a warm-up focusing on postural strength and alignment, followed by a series of upper body exercises using light weights. The ballet barre is used to sculpt the lower body, abs and for flexibility training. The rest of class focuses heavily on thighs, calves and glutes for a high intensity, challenging and very low impact workout.
Yoga (Monica, Asia, Cindy, Alex, Reba)
Both the mental and physical benefits of a regular yoga practice prove to be astonishing. Yoga at PURENERGY is a hatha practice with a goal of coordinating breath with movement. Each class focuses on flexibility, strength and balance. Hot yoga classes are done at 90-95 degrees.
Refresh and Flow Yoga: (Alex)
A rejuvenating practice for all levels that has focus on restorative poses and breathing technique.
Super Saturday Fit Camp (Varies)
Jump-start your weekend with 55 minutes of workout with a different instructor every weekend! All of our trainers and instructors get to teach this class with one taking over each week. You just never know what fun surprises are in store when you come to the gym on Saturday morning. Get faster and stronger with circuit style exercises that will make you sweat and burn a ton of calories. Improve flexibility with Yoga, get a great leg and core workout in Barre, or get the perfect combination in Spin and Abs.
Sunday Strength Training: (John) Improve your form and technique with traditional and Olympic weightlifting with certified strength and conditioning specialist John Graves. This class will help you increase your strength and improve your form in a group style class.
